Notes on changing the aspect
This projector provides you with the various choices
of aspects. When changing the aspect, check the
following:
• Select an aspect taking into account that one which
changes the aspect ratio of the original picture will
provide a different look from that of the original
image.
• Also note that if the projector is used for profit or for
public viewing, modifying the original picture by
switching aspects may constitute an infringement of
the rights of authors or producers which are legally
protected by laws.

To turn off the power
To turn off the power from the control panel

Press the I / 1 key on the control panel.
"Power OFF?" appears on the screen.
Note
The message will disappear if you press any key
except the I / 1 key, or if you do not press any
key for five seconds.

Press the I / 1 key again.
The ON/STANDBY indicator flashes in green and
the fan continues to run for about 120 seconds to
reduce internal heat build-up. Also, the
ON/STANDBY indicator flashes quickly for the
first 40 seconds. During this first 40 seconds, you
will not be able to turn the power back on with the
I / 1 key.

Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet
after the fan stops running and the ON/STANDBY
indicator lights in red.
When you cannot confirm the on-screen
message
When you cannot confirm the on-screen message at
anytime, you can turn off the power by holding the
I / 1 key for about one second.
To turn off the power from the Remote
Commander

Press the 1 key on the Remote Commander.

Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet
after the fan stops running and the ON/STANDBY
indicator lights in red.
Note
Do not unplug the AC power cord while the
fan is still running; otherwise, the fan will
stop even though the internal heat level is
still high. This may lead to a breakdown of the
projector!
