USB playback
Playing USB storage devices
It is possible to listen to two-channel audio using the USB
interface on the front of this receiver.
• Pioneer does not guarantee that any file recorded on a
USB storage device will play or that power will be
supplied to a USB storage device. Also note that Pioneer
will accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss of files
on USB storage devices caused by connection to this
unit.

Press USB as the input source.
"USB/IPOD" is shown on the main display.

Connect the USB storage device.
"GUI" appear on the main display automatically.
• This receiver does not support a USB hub.

When the recognition is completed, press
to start playback.
• When changing to a different input source, stop the USB
memory playback first before changing.

Disconnect USB storage device from the USB
terminal.
Turn the power off before removing the USB storage device.
Note
• This unit may not recognize a USB storage device, play
files or supply power to a USB storage device. For
details, see When a USB storage device is connected on
page 38.
• When a USB storage device is not playing and the unit
has not been operated for 20 minutes or more, the power
will automatically turn off. In this case it is required that
the Auto power off is switched to ON (page 44).
