checking and comparing surfaces, structures, components, gaps etc., a quality prod-
uct made by Eschenbach.

and design of our products.

Before first use

Read this manual carefully through before using the device for the first time. Careful
reading of this comprehensive instruction manual is the best way to familiarise your-
self with all the functions of the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection.
This manual also provides instructions on how to install the supplied software. You
will not be able to use and control all the functions provided by the mobilux DIGITAL
Inspection until you have installed the software.

Safety information

X Risk of glare and injury! Never look directly at the light source on the underside
of the housing! Risk group 1 according to EN 62471:2008. Exposure hazard
value (EHV): 2200 seconds at 800 mm. The limit values of the exempt group
are complied with at a distance of 1.8 m. Retinal danger due to actinic light
400 nm to 780 nm.
X Do not allow children to handle electronic devices without supervision.
X Charge the testing device only with the supplied mains adapter or a USB con-
nection!
X Check your mobilux DIGITAL Inspection and the mains adapter and its power
cable for visible damage. If the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection, the mains adapter or
its cable are damaged, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power im-
mediately. Ask a qualified specialist to check the product before you use it again.
X Never open the housing of the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection. There are no ser-
viceable parts whatsoever inside. Opening the device will void the guarantee.
X Never expose the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection to moisture.
X Protect the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection from knocks or blows and excessive heat!
Never place the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection on a heater or in direct sunlight!
X Ensure that other people, particularly children, are aware of these risks!
