Preparing the PSP
Before using the PSP
these steps to charge the battery. Before inserting the battery pack, find the
serial and model numbers listed within the battery compartment and make a
record of the numbers in the spaces provided under Owner's Record on
page 152.
Getting started 1: Inserting the battery pack

Remove the battery cover.
Hold down the push button and slide
the battery cover open.

Insert the battery pack.
Align the bottom surface of the
battery pack with the system to
attach.

Replace the battery cover.

direction of the arrow until it
locks firmly into place.
