Water connections
Please refer to the Safety information manual.

When making the hydronic connections to the module,
always use a counter spanner when tightening.

To avoid bacteria and dirty proliferation in the circuit it is
recommended to use water treatment mixed water.

Place valves (not included) at the inlet and outlet of the
hydronic module.

Use pipe 1" or bigger for the connection between the
hydronic module and the fl oor / fan coil / radiator.
Pump speed selection
The pump provided with the module has 3 speeds.
The installer selects the speed of the module pump in order
to guarantee the target fl ow rate, knowing the available
pressure of the system at diff erent pump speed (see fi g. 23a)
and the pressure drop of the installation.

Refrigerant connections
Please refer to the Safety information manual and the
R-410A- Installation manual.
WARNING:
The installer can rout the copper pipes from CDU to the
hydronic module. However the refrigerant connections
must be done by a skilled fridge installer during the
commissioning.
Before the commissioning the installer must rout the copper
insulated pipe from CDU to the hydronic module, cut it at
the correct length and close it at each side by pinching and
adhesive tape.
Make sure that during the routing, external materials do not
enter in the pipes.

Finally wrap connections with anti-condensate insulation
and tighten with tape, without exerting great pressure the
insulation.

When all the installation connections are complete, start
water fi lling.
For 80AW2 modules, the installer should also decide the
target fl ow rate for the zone, depending on the terminal
connected; after that, the installer selects the speed of the
pump knowing the available pressure of the system at
diff erent speeds (see fi g. 23b) and the pressure drop of the
installation.
