Installation
H- ELECTRIC HEATER CUT OFF
(only for products with electrical heater)
In order to cut off stage 1, remove, on the terminal block,
the factory fi tted shunt connected to pin S11 on the PCB2
board (see electrical scheme).
In order to cut off stage 2 (if available), remove, on the
terminal block, the factory fi tted shunt connected to pin S12
on the PCB2 board (see electrical scheme).
Electric heaters cut off can be controlled through external
contacts, to be connected to terminal blocks where shunts

Commissioning

Preliminary Checks
Make sure that:
-
hydronic system connections are correctly tightened
-
there are no leaks
-
the installation is bled; poor bleeding can cause
deterioration of pumps and electric heaters
-
the pumps are free and bled before power is switched on
-
the circuit valves are open and that the pumps are set to
the speed determined in the study
-
the fi lling and drain valves are closed
-
the water circuit pressure is 1.5 bar
-
electrical connections are correctly tightened; poor
tightening can cause running problems and overheating
which can cause major damage
-
earth connections have been made for all the installed
components
-
no tools or other foreign objects have been left in the unit
-
the unit is stable.

Startup
Don't switch on the electric heater circuit breakers until the
installation has been fully bled; poor bleeding can cause
deterioration of pumps and electric heaters.
-
Switch the main isolating switch and the circuit breakers
on.
-
Start the CDU by setting code 0 to ON and code 1 to
HEATING.
-
Run the CDU in forced mode (code 49) to test the CDU for
commissioning; do not forget to exit forced mode after
the test.
-
After the CDU has been running for 10 minutes , close the
valves, set code 0 to OFF, switch off the main switch and
clean the fi lter.
-
Repeat this operation several times if necessary until the
fi lter stops retaining impurities.
