FAULT
The valve does not open fully.
Liquid passes through the valve when
it is closed.
A leak has been detected in the
diaphragm area between the upper
and lower body.
PROBLEMA
La válvula no se abre completamente.
El fluido pasa a través de la válvula con
la válvula cerrada.
Se ha detectado alguna fuga del fluido
en la zona de la junta, entre el cuerpo
superior y el inferior.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The diaphragm is damaged in the
threaded stem seating area.
Solid particles are preventing the
valve from closing completely.
The valve is not completely closed.
The fixing screws have become loose
or have not been tightened using the
appropriate tightening torque.
The diaphragm has split due to
fatigue.
POSIBLE CAUSA
Se ha roto la junta en la zona de fijación
al eje roscado.
Hay partículas sólidas que impiden
cerrar completamente la válvula.
La válvula no está totalmente cerrada.
Los tornillos de fijación se han aflojado
o bien no se han apretado con el par
adecuado.
La junta se ha roto debido a la fatiga.

FAULT CLEARANCE

Remove the valve and replace the
diaphragm and the stem if necessary.
Remove the upper body of the valve
and clean the diaphragm.
Turn the handwheel clockwise with
the specified torque until the valve is
completely closed.
Re-tighten the fixing nuts with the
recommended torque value.
Replace the seal as specified in this
manual.
SOLUCIÓN
Desmontar la válvula y reemplazar la
junta y en caso necesario, el eje.
Desmontar el cuerpo superior de la
válvula y limpiar la junta.
Maniobrar la maneta a derechas
con el par adecuado hasta cerrar
completamente la válvula.
Volver a apretar las tuercas de fijación
según el par recomendado.
Reemplazar la junta según las
especificaciones del manual.
