2. Design and function

2.2 Functional description

The flow switch works by the calorimetric principle and is used to convert the flow rate into an electric signal. The
instrument shows the flow rate in per cent on the digital display.
Optionally, the instrument measures the medium temperature.
The instrument can output up to 2 output signals as parameterised.
