- Página 8 INSTALLING AN ON-GROUND SWIMMING POOL ON-GROUND swimming pools are installed in the same way as in-ground or above-ground swimming pools; however, the land where they are to be positioned must be prepared to make sure that the bottom of the pool is 20 cm below ground level. This will mean that the interior of the swimming pool shall have a depth of 1.50 m and the exterior of the pool shall have a total visible height of only 1.30 m.

PREPARING THE GROUND Once the location is decided, the pool can be set up on a properly smoothed and levelled concrete or cement base, or directly on the ground after preparing it as follows: 1º- MARK the area where the pool is to be installed. For round pools, mark an area 1 metre larger in diameter than the pool itself. For oval pools allow 1 metre more in length and 2 in width. Tools required: screwdriver, cord, funnel, flour.

- Página 26 7º 8º ASSEMBLING THE RETURN VALVE AND SKIMMER 7- Check once again that VS and VR are properly located. You may now begin to fill the swimming pool with water. Stop filling when the level of water is 4 cm below the hole for the return valve on the lower part of the skimmer panel.
- Página 27 9º KIT TINTE You may proceed to fill the swimming pool up to the level defined by the skimmer (half-way on the skimmer mouth). It is recommended that you sand the wood before applying the woodstain.You may now use a brush (use is recommended of 2 brushes of different widths – not included in the kit) to apply the woodstain so that the wood acquires a suitable dark colouring.
- Página 28 Application: It should be applied once a year. Application should be made of at least one coat of paint-woodstain on the wall panels and upper playa finishing pieces. A minimum of 2 coats of woodstain should be applied to all grained ends of the wood and to angle joints. NOTE: The useful life of a coat of paint may be considerably extended by touching up or by applying a fresh coat at regular intervals, instead of waiting for it to deteriorate.
