INSTALLATION

Place the equipment on a flat, horizontal and level surface, taking care
of leaving a space of about 10 cm. at the rear part and both sides.
1- Connect the cooler water inlet «1» (racord 3/8') with the 8 mm in-
ner dia. hose to a water tap with a minimum flow of 1 litre/minute.
2- Connect the cooler water outlet «2» (racord 3/8') with the 8 mm
inner dia. hose to a drainage.
3.- Connect the vacuum inlet «3» (racord 1/4') to a water jet pump
with the 5 mm inner dia. tube.
4- Connect the drainage residual outlet of the tray «4» (racord 1/4')
to a drainage.
5- Connect it into the mains.

Be sure that the voltage supply is the same that the on indicated
on the characteristics plate.
Do not use the equipment if it is not earthed.
If you change the plug bear the following in mind:
Blue cable: Neutral
Brown cable: Phase
Yellow/green cable: earth
The porous crucibles are made of borosilicate glass, with a
standard filter of porosity no.2 (40-70 micras).
A cold crucible must not be put directly into a muffle furnace at 500ºC
since the crucible would be immediately broken. To avoid it, please
follow one of the two options:
- Place the crucible in the cold furnace and then switch it on.
