COD. 6903700030
1) Release the torch button: the current gradually falls with the time set by means
of the Sd button (ref.14 page 9); the arc goes out and then there will be the POST-
GAS time set by means of the PG button PG (ref.17 page 9).
Procedure for TIG 2 TIME welding with LIFT start (without HF)
Starting welding :
1) Check that the HF ON led (ref.7A page 9) is off. If it is not, press the HF ON
button (ref.7 page 9); the HF ON led goes off (ref.7A page 9).
2) Bring the tip of the electrode (tungsten) into contact with the piece to be welded.
3) Press the torch button: after 0.5 seconds of PRE-GAS, lift the torch from the
side so as to move slightly away from the piece to be welded and start the welding
process.
End of welding:
1) Perform the same procedure described for TIG 2 TIME welding with HF start.
- TIG 4 TIME WELDING
1) Press the mode selection button (ref.4 page 9) until the Tig 4T mode led lights
up (ref.4C page 9).
2) For 2 seconds the displays (ref.20-21 page 9) will show the letters tig 4t.
3) Regulating the welding current – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME
welding.
4) Regulating the slope up -Pressing the SU button (ref.8 page 9) selects the
time of the slope up. The right-hand display A (ref.20 page 9) will start to blink,
indicating the value that can be selected with the encoder (ref.5 page 9) from 0.1
to 10 seconds.
5) Regulating the slope down – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME welding.
6) Regulating the base current -When the bC button is pressed (ref.15 page 9),
the right-hand display A (ref.20 page 9) will start to blink, indicating the value that
can be selected with the encoder (ref.5 page 9) from 10% to 90% of the welding
current A.
To view the set value at any time, briefly press the bC button.
6) Regulating the post-gas time - proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME welding.
7) Activating and regulating DC pulse – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME
welding.
