TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
- TIG WELDING WITH RESET (DOUBLE PARAMETER)
1) Press the mode selection button (ref.4 page 9) until the Tig Reset mode led
lights up (ref.4E page 9)
2) For 2 seconds the displays (ref.20-21 page 9) will show the letters rEP
3) Regulating the welding current – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME
welding.
4) Regulating the slope down – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME welding.
5) Regulating the base Current – Second Parameter -When the bC button is
pressed (ref.15 page 9), the right-hand display A (ref.20 page 9) will start to blink,
indicating the value that can be selected with the encoder (ref.5 page 9), from 10%
to 90% of the final welding current A.
By pressing the torch button briefly (less than 0.5 seconds ), you can pass directly
from current value A to the final current value bC and vice versa.
To view the set value at any time, briefly press the bC button.
6) Regulating the post-gas time - proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME welding.
7) Activating and regulating DC pulse – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME
welding.
8) If you want to work with a remote control (CAD), refer to the chapter on
PREPARING THE REMOTE/PEDAL CONTROL on page 20.
Procedure for TIG WELDING WITH RESET (DOUBLE PARAMETER) with HF
start
Starting welding:
1) Press the HF ON button (ref.7 page 9); the HF ON led lights up (ref.7A page 9).
2) Bring the tip of the electrode (tungsten) close to the piece to be welded.
3) Press the torch button: after 0.5 seconds of PRE-GAS, the arc will be lit by the
HF generator; the welding process starts. The current will go to the base value
selected with the bC button (ref.15 page 9).
4) When the torch button is released the current will go to the set value A with a
slope up value selected with the SU button (ref.8 page 9).
By pressing the torch button briefly (less than 0.5 seconds), you can pass
directly from the set current value A to the final current value FC and vice
versa.
End of welding:
1) Press the torch button: the current gradually falls with the time set by means of
the Sd button (ref.14 page 9); the arc remains at the final current value set with the
bC button (ref. 15 page 9).
2) Release the torch button: the arc goes out and then there will be the POST-GAS
