Taping Instructions

WARNING!
• Always use the attachment point on the tool to secure the tool if one exists. Secure per the
User Instructions included in this manual. Only use the alternative of taping the tool to the
tool tether if no attachment point is available.
• Use only the specified tape.
• Tool Tether Tape must be replaced for any tool tether product that is taped to a tool and has
been subjected to fall arrest forces.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in serious personal injury or death.

If there is no attachment point on the tool, the loop end of a Loop Tail (for tools 15 lbs and under)
or Detachable Loop (for tools 5 lbs and under) can be securely wrapped around and taped to the
tool using Tool Tether Tape (P/N 1020138).
