Never operate the tool when a protective cover is missing or in case some of the protec-
tive elements are missing or aren't in perfect condition.
Modifications on FÖRCH-tools are prohibited due to safety reasons. Any modification of
the original device leads to immediate exclusion of any liability.
Wear safety gloves and goggles.
Tools with pneumatic drive might disperse chips, dust and other abrasive
particles at high speed which may lead to severe eye injuries. Compressed
air might be dangerous. The airflow could cause damage to sensitive body
parts like eyes, ears, etc.. Objects and dust swirled by the airflow could
cause injuries.
Wear ear protection.
Long exposure to the operating noise of a pneumatic tool can lead to
permanent hearing loss.
Wear facial and respiratory protection.
Some material like adhesives or tar contain chemicals whose vapours
inhaled over a longer period of time, can cause severe damage.
Wear tight protective clothing.
Tools with moving parts can be caught in hair, clothing, jewellery or other
loose objects which might result in severe injuries. Never wear too loose
clothes and/or such with straps or loops etc. which might be caught in
moving parts of the device. Do not wear jewellery, watches, identification
tags, bracelets, necklaces etc. which might be caught in the tool.
Never touch tool parts that are in motion. Long hair should be held together or covered.
Pneumatic tools must be kept away from children. Unattended tools or such connected
to compressed air could be used by unauthorised persons and thus lead to their injury or
cause injuries to third persons.
Do not use device in hazardous areas. Tools as grinders/cutters could cause sparking
which can lead to ignition of flammable materials. Never operate tools near flammable
substances such as gasoline, naphtha or cleaning solvents etc.. Only work in clean,
well-ventilated areas where there are no flammable materials. Never use oxygen, carbon
dioxide or other bottled gases to power pneumatic tools.
Do not aim at other persons. When operating the tool keep children and other persons
out of the working area.
Do not use device at idle.
Pneumatic tools must not get in contact with power sources.
Pay attention to operating pressure, max. air pressure – see table page 8.
Exceeding the permissible maximum pressure of tools and accessories could cause ex-
plosions and lead to severe injuries. The maximum pressure of the compressed air must
be equal to or slightly below the allowable pressure load of the grinder/cutter.
Check hose connections for tight fit. Do not use defective compressed air hoses. Twirling
compressed air hoses can cause severe injuries.
Disconnect pneumatic tools only in unpressurized state. Twirling compressed air hoses
can cause severe injuries.
Only use dry, clean compressed air. Never use oxygen, carbon dioxide or other bottled
gases to power pneumatic tools.
Only use spare parts, fittings and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Never carry the device at the compressed air hose.
