These instructions for use provide you with important information regarding the installation and
proper use of the 476C00=SK45*, 476C00=SK46* incontinence cover.
All users and/or their attendants must be trained by qualified personnel in the use of the product
with the aid of these instructions for use. In particular, users and/or attendants must be informed
of the residual risks with the aid of the safety notices.
Please note the following:

these instructions for use.

2 Product description

The incontinence cover protects the foam material and all components inside the seat cushion
against soiling and liquids. It is applied directly over the seat cushion fill and under the textile cov­
er.
The incontinence cover is made of elastic, transparent plastic. The surface is water-repellent and
easy to clean.
The incontinence cover is available for all Ottobock seat cushions.

3 Intended use

The safe use of the product can be ensured only if it is used as intended in accordance with the
information contained in these instructions for use.

3.1 Indications for use

The product is intended exclusively as an incontinence cover for a wheelchair seat cushion.
The ideal incontinence cover must be selected by trained, qualified personnel based on the size
and individual sitting needs of the user. The cover may only be used in conjunction with a wheel­
chair seat cushion in the appropriate size.
The allowable user weight is 35 kg [77 lbs] to 250 kg [551 lbs]. We assume no liability if the
product is used outside the allowed user weight range.
3.2 Indications
• Minor to pronounced or complete restrictions of mobility
• Incontinence
