4.5 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROTECTIONS AND OF THE SAFETY SYSTEM
The dangerous working element of this machine is the spiral-shaped tool.
The access to such element is prevented by a movable protection.
The protection is completely made of stainless steel and has a grating (to
allow possible additions and to control the working cycle).
Its sizes comply with the PREN 953 - MPL 5 ED EN 294 standards.
When lifting the protection, a limit switch acts to switch the machine off
according to the directions of the EN 60204-1 and EN 60947-5-1 standards.
In any case, it is strictly forbidden to remove, to change or to damage the
protections of the machine in any way.

CONTROLS OF THE MACHINE

The figure 4.1 shows the specification of the machine controls with the
following meaning:
Switch nr. 1 .....(0-1-2)..... this switch turns the power on or off
Silver push-button nr. 2 ..... emergency button to stop the machine
Silver push-button nr. 3 ..... normal stop button
Switch nr. 1-3-4 ....... ..... push-button to let the machine
