Maintenance and care
To prevent damage it is important that you take care of
your hearing aids and follow a few basic rules, which
will soon become a part of your daily routine.
Hearing aids
Drying and storage
Dry your hearing aids overnight.
u
Ask your Hearing Care Specialist for recommended
u
drying products.
For longer periods of non-use, store your hearing
u
aids with open battery compartment and batteries
removed in a drying system to avoid the adverse
effects of moisture. A hearing aid dryer is available
from your Hearing Care Specialist.
Cleaning
Your hearing aids have a protective coating. However, if
not cleaned regularly you may damage the hearing aids
or cause personal injury.
Clean your hearing aids daily with a soft, dry tissue.
u
Never use running water or immerse the
u
devices in water.
Never apply pressure while cleaning.
