Following the mounting guidelines, mounts type B are intended to be used both vertically right and upside down.

When mounting gas springs upside down by mounts B it is important to follow the instructions about quality of
screws, thread length, safety washers and torque.
Use thread locking if the gas spring base threads length (E) are < thread diameter (D), for example CW series.

When using mounts type B the base must be supported
at all the times to avoid full compression force of the
gas spring being transferred through the mounting
screws.
