Hob grates
The hobs have cast iron grates.
The grates can be removed from the hob to enable better cleaning.
Keep the cast iron grates in their seats, to avoid scratching or damaging the hob.
The grates cannot be placed in a dishwasher; after washing by hand, make sure to correctly
refit them.
Electric igniter
Automatic lighting of the rings is ensured by a ceramic igniter containing a metal electrode.
Carefully clean these parts of the hob periodically. Also, to avoid difficult lighting make sure
the flame spreader holes are not clogged.
Periodical maintenance
Have the condition and efficiency of the gas pipe and the pressure regulator (if present)
periodically checked.
In case of any anomalies, have the faulty part replaced (and not repaired).
