MANAGEMENT VIA ROBOT TERMINAL.

Operation of the Robot Terminal depends on the status of the Robot function in the "Second Functions"
menu (par. 10.2).
With the Robot function enabled (rob On) the Robot Terminal has the full operations of the Welding
System.
With the Robot function disabled (rob OFF) the Robot Terminal retains only management of the
welding command (Arc-On signal).
NOTE: This Instruction Manual refers to the Power Sources arts. 366, 367 and 368 in Robot applications.
Therefore, only those signals from the Robot Control, with the Robot function active (rob On)
are listed and briefly described below.
For more details on the signals from the Robot Control, we recommend consulting Robot
Interface Instruction Manual.
8.1
Selections from Robot Terminal.
8.1.1
Operating Mode.
Setting the Welding System Operating Mode.
Two signals are available (2 bits, 0 - 1) to select the Tig mode, Job mode e Parameter Selection
Internal mode (see table in Robot Interface Instruction Manual).

Selecting a "Job number" to call up.
Three signals are available (3 bits, 0 - 2) (see table in Robot Interface Instruction Manual).
The signals perform different selections based on the selected Operating Mode:
in Tig mode select the Tig-AC and Tig-Pulsed;
in Job mode select a "Job number".
8.2
Commands from Robot Terminal.
8.2.1
Arc-On.
Start current command for the Power Source.
8.2.2
Robot Ready.
Allows welding by the Robot Control.
8.2.3
Gas Test.
Command for the gas solenoid valve.
8.2.4
Wire Inching.
Wire feed command.
8.2.5
Wire Retract.
Command to retract the wire.
8.3
Adjustments from Robot Terminal.
The regulations from Robot Terminal can be enabled or disabled by means of dip-switches on the Robot
Interface (see Robot Interface Instruction Manual).
The Robot Interface factory setup is with the following active functions.
8.3.1
Welding Current.
Operative in Tig mode only.
Sets the Welding Current.
On Control Panel the value is shown on display O when the led N is lit.
8.3.2
Wire Speed.
Operative in Tig mode only.
Sets the wire speed in welding.
