The battery is equipped with LED indicators that
indicate the remaining battery life at any time by
pressing the adjacent button (C):
4 LEDs illuminated: fully charged
2 LEDs illuminated: 50 % capacity
1 LED flashing: minimum charge, the battery is
almost depleted and needs to be charged.
The electronics protect the battery from any damage
caused by complete depletion.
Continuous overload causes deactivation due to overheating. In such a case, allow the battery to cool down;
if the battery feels hot to the touch, it can be cooled down more quickly by inserting it into the relevant "AIR
COOLED" battery charger.
The battery charge status can also be seen on the display (11).
5.2) Using the battery charger
Only use the battery charger supplied following the instructions provided.
6.1) Assembly/disassembly of sockets (Ref. to Fig. 5)
Always remove the battery when fitting or removing any accessories.
Any accessory (extension, adapter, joint, socket) must be specified for use with impact
tools. The use of unsuitable accessories could lead to breakage.
Before use, always check to make sure the socket shows no signs of breakage or particular
wear. If the socket does not fit tightly on the square shaft this could result in a loss of
power and excessive wear of components.
Sockets are optional accessories that can be supplied separately.
Choose the appropriate socket for the fixing element you intend to work on:
- square, hexagonal, double square etc.
- suitable socket and length.
- Specified for impact tooling.
- Assemble on to 25.4 mm (1") square shaft with through bore.
Slide the socket onto the square shaft (8) lining up the bores of the socket and the shaft (Ref. to Fig. 5a).
Fully insert the supplied CLIP-NR circlip into the through bore, ensuring the spring arms are correctly
located in the slot around the socket.
To disassemble the socket, extract CLIP-NR by simultaneous lateral pushing on both ends of the circlip
arms (Ref. to Fig. 5b) then recover the ejected CLIP-NR.
If necessary, it is possible to insert an extension between the socket and the wrench to adapt to various
usage needs.
