Mulching
To mulch, you will need the rear mulching baffle installed below
the rear discharge door.
If converting to mulching from the grass collection mode:
1. Remove grass catcher.
2. Install rear mulching baffle. See Fig. 3-7.
If converting to mulching from side discharge:
1. Remove side discharge chute.
2. Make sure the rear mulching baffle is installed. See
Fig. 3-7.

Adjustments
Height Adjustment
The cutting height adjustment lever is located above the rear left
wheel. See Fig. 3-8. To adjust the cutting height:

a. Pull the lever out and away from the mower.
b. Move the lever forward or back for desired cutting
height.
c. Release lever towards mower deck.
WARNING:
Do not at any time make any
adjustment to lawn mower without first stopping
motor and removing safety key.
