CARTRIdGE LIFE INdICATOR
The cartridge life indicator features a 6-month time signal and a low
battery signal. When the 6-month indicator is illuminated, the filter
cartridges should be changed. After replacing the cartridges, push the
reset button. The LED next to the reset button will flash 5 times
(Figures A and B).
To change battery, use a small screwdriver to push on metal spring to
release battery (Figure C). Snap in new battery with number showing.
NOTE: Use replacement battery type CR2032.

FILTER CARTRIdGE REPLACEMENT

NOTE: The life of the filter cartridge depends on water volume used and
the quality of the feed water. It is recommended that the filter cartridge
be replaced every 6 months, or when there is a noticeable change in
taste, odor, or flow of filtered water.
Purchase one
OMNIFILTER 1500R and one OMNIFILTER 1750R
Cartridge for the system.
Read all instructions before replacing the filter cartridges.
A)
Relieve pressure by turning off the water supply to the system and
opening faucet until water flow stops. Place a bucket or towel
under the system to catch any water drips.
B)
Place hand on filter head assembly to steady the system. Rotate
the filter cartridge 1/4 turn counterclockwise until no resistance is
felt. Pull the cartridge down and straight out from the filter head
assembly (Figure 1).
NOTE: Install the 1500R Filter Cartridge in the left side of the
assembly and the 1750R Filter Cartridge in the right side.

Place hand on filter head assembly to steady the system. Align
the tab on the back of the filter cartridge with the slot in the filter
head assembly. Slide the cartridge filter up into the filter head
assembly until it can go no further. Rotate the cartridge clockwise
1/4 turn until the cartridge can go no further (Figure 2). Slowly
turn on cold water.

Flush filter for 5 minutes through the faucet. Discard water.

Check for leaks at all fittings before leaving installation. If leaks
appear, see troubleshooting.
TROuBLESHOOTING
Leaks between filter head assembly
and filter cartridge
1.
Relieve pressure. Turn off the water supply to the system and open
faucet until water flow stops. Place a bucket or towel under the
system to catch any water drips.
2.
Remove cartridge and inspect o-rings to make sure they are properly
seated and clean.
3.
Install filter cartridge. Place system into operation and check for leaks.
If leaks persist, turn off the water supply and contact OMNIFILTER
