System Filling
Check the position of the CH Flow and Return
valves (See Fig. 17) and those for the Fan-coils
circuit. They should all be fully open. To open
them, turn anti-clockwise. Open the fill valves
for both the Central Heating (1) and Fan-coil (2)
circuits.
lncrease the CH circuit pressure to 1.5 bar and
ensure that the boiler air valve (3) is open; then
bleed the air in the cooling circuit (4) using a
screwdriver. See Fig. 18.
Ensure that the boiler circulating pump is running;
otherwise, press a screwdriver against the slot
on the shaft-end and turn it. See Fig. 19.
Gas
Check that the gas inlet cock is open (See Fig.20).
To open it, turn anti-clockwise.
Programming and Operation
Central Heating and Domestic Hor Water
Mode
The green lamp indicates that the electrical
supply is reaching the control panel. See Fig. 21.
The water pressure should be 1.5 bar. lf it is
under 1 bar, the red indicator lamp will light up,
the fault code 03 will be displayed on the screen
and the burners will not ignite. See Fig. 22.
Central Heating Mode
Press
for a moment to programme the boiler
for Heating and Domestic Hot Water. The Hot
Water mode has priority over Central Heating.
lf there is demand for Heating, the boiler will start
up. The temperature will increase until the
maximum value selected is reached (80 °C). The
data shown in Fig. 23 will be displayed.
Domestic Hot Water Mode
Press
for a moment to programme the boiler
for Domestic Hot Water. lf a hot water tap is
opened, the boiler will start up. The temperature
will rise until reaching the maximum value
selected (55°C). The data shown in Fig. 24 will
be displayed.
Stop
Press
for a moment to cancel the service
programmed (See Fig. 25). In this position, a
permanent frost protection feature and pump
seizure system are activated (See section under
"Permanent Monitoring System).
lf for any reason the boiler goes into 'lock-out',
the red indicator lamp will light up. See Fig. 26.
Press
for 3 to 5 seconds and the boiler will
attempt a new ignition cycle.
CH and Domestic Hot Water Fault Codes
lf the fault code numbers are: 03, 06, 12, 14 or
17, first check the following:

in the Heating circuit. Check the pressure and
make it up by opening the fill point valve (See
Fig. 17) until reaching 1.5 bar. The boiler will start
up automatically.

Operating Temperature

The temperatures programmed are: 80 °C for
Central Heating and 55°C for Domestic Hot Water.
18
However, the factory-set temperature may be
altered as follows:
Domestic Hot Water Mode
Press
for a moment. See Fig. 28.
The temperature digits will automatically flash
for 10 seconds. While the digits are flashing,
press
if you wish to increase the temperature,
or
if you wish to decrease it. Once the new
temperature has been set, it will be automatically
stored. The temperature range goes from 40 °C
to 60 °C.
Standard Programme
Press
for 10 seconds to re-establish the
factory-set programme. See Fig. 29.
Output
The boiler is delivered pre-set to provide 17,500
kcal/h in the Central Heating Mode. This output
may be regulated from 6,000 to 20,000kcal/h. lf
you wish to adapt the output to the needs of the
installation, proceed as follows:
Keep the three buttons
simbltaneously for a moment. The symbols s h o
w n in Fig. 30 will be displayed for 30 seconds.
Press
and select the required output. Each
output level which appears on the screen
corresponds to 6, 8, 10, 15, 17.5 and 20 (x 10
kcal/h).
The new output selected will be stored in memory
by pressing again
Permanent Monitoring System
When the boiler is left on 'Stand-by' (Fig. 31), and
regardless of any other conventional safeties, a
permanent protection system will operate for the
pump and burners, providing the following
services:
Anti-seizure protection
Every 6 hours the pump is activated for 15
seconds
Anti-inertia
Following every CH and/or DHW cycle, the
pump continues to run for 30 seconds
Frost protection feature
lf the temperature of the Heating Circuit drops to
7 °C, the pump is turned ON until the temperature
rises to 9%.
Super frost protection feature
lf the temperature of the Heating Circuit drops to
5 °C in extreme weather conditions, the
programme activates not only the pump but also
the ignition system, at minimum output.
The burners will go out after 30 minutes or when
the temperature rises to 35 °C.
Regulation of gas consumption
Following the first lighting, and once the system
has been programmed, please ensure that the
gas input rate matches the values given in the
relevant rating table. The average supply
pressure should coincide with the values given
in the table.
The supply pressure can be checked at the
pressure test point (35) incorporated in the boiler.
See Fig. 32.
Domestic Hot Water Adjustment
The cold water inlet cock (19) (see Fig. 7) can
be used to correct the flow rate/temperature in
order to satisfy DHW requirements. However,
the boiler incorporates a flow restrictor set at
approximately 15 litres/min. (between 1 and 10
bar), which prevents this flow rate from being
increased.
The temperature of the hot water flow called for
will depend on the mains water temperature.
The final adjustment will be made via a tap.

hours, it starts to run for 30 seconds (whether
the two circuits are independent or not).
– Frost protection feature: when the circuits are
independent and the temperature of cold water
drops below 3 °C, the pump starts and
continues to run until the temperature is again
above 5 °C.
– lf the circuits are independent, there is no frost
protection feature.

compressor will be in demand position; if it is
