For 4 kW motors, a maximum of 40 starts/hour

3) INSTALLATION

The equipment is delivered on a pallet, protected against humidity and dust. It may only be transported using
authorised lifting systems. The transporting pulleys and cables are fastened to the openings on the plate
specially designed for this purpose. Collectors should not be used as fastening points for lifting the load.
Remember that the set's centre of gravity is displaced towards the top.

3.1) Emplacement

The ESPA pressure booster are designed to work indoors. The equipment should be installed in a dry, well-
ventilated location that is large enough to enable equipment maintenance. A floor drainage system is also
required.
The maximum temperature of environment is 45ºC.
In general, the groups of pressure cannot work in the following conditions:
1 - Outdoors
2 - In places at the risk of flood.
3 - In places with insufficient ventilation.
4 - In places where the temperature exceed 45ºC.
5 - In places where dangerous atmospheres exist with risks of explosion.
6 - In places where there exists the possibility of receiving water jets.
7 - In places where risk of frosts exists.
The measures of the place will have to be such that allow the operations of maintenance with facility, also it
must save a sufficient space for the installation of the accumulator.

3.2) Hydraulic installation

3.2.1) Installation diagram

The installation must comply with the legal requirements in the location where the equipment is to be installed.
The raising system must be designed in such a way that it can be delivered to areas fed by network pressure,
without the need to start up the set.
CPE sets should be connected to membrane pressure devices that are appropriate for the characteristics of the
installation. The inflation pressure is 0.5 bar less than the opening pressure.
Each CKE pressure set comes with a suitable pressure tank which can adequately lessen pressure variation in
the area of the transducer reader. The inflation pressure should be 0.8 bar less than the reference pressure. For
safety reasons, the pressure tank is delivered unassembled and therefore must be assembled before it can be
used.
The set must be installed on a bedplate made of concrete or some other material with sufficient mass and
inertia to prevent the equipment from being affected by noise and vibrations. The pressure booster set must be
fixed on the above mentioned support by screws across the existing orifices.
In CKE sets, the pressure transducer that comes with the equipment receives the pressure signal from inside
the collector. In CPE sets, the transducer receives the pressure signal from the attached pressure tank.
