Keratin is a very strong protein that forms
the main component of human hair. It gives
the hair its stability, elasticity and keeps it
healthy. Daily styling, especially using heat,
can lead to longterm damage of the cuticle
and the keratin in the hair, resulting in split
ends or even breakage. With the "Keratin"
function, the delicate keratin structure of
the hair is protected against excess heat
and drying out. By pressing button 5
the hair straightener automatically switches
to the temperature setting that protects
the hair against damage. Press the button
/
to activate the setting. The button will
then light up and "Keratin" will appear in
the display. The word "Keratin" will flash
until the temperature required has been
reached. To switch off the setting, press the
/
button
again. The button will no longer
light up and the word "Keratin" will disap
pear from the display.
