Do not use the side brush cutter Master 1000
without the protection device - Because the
cutting blade that regulates the nylon thread
length is fixed to it, which avoids the overload and
the subsequent burning out of the engine.
For longer life of the nylon thread - Avoid putting
it in contact with stones, walls, fences and
sidewalks.
In the brush cutter model Master 3000 one must
not use nylon spool.
Maintain the cutting blade sharp and clean. The
cutting blade continues in movement during a few
seconds after the equipment is off. Pay attention
to it while performing any maintenance. Use the
equipment and accessories in accordance with
the instructions herein, in order to obtain safety
during work and make good use of the equipment.
Before using, make sure the blade is correctly
fixed. Visually inspect the cutting blade, verify if it
is not damaged or without cut. Replace the blade
and screws damaged or worn in order to preserve
its balance.
Never operate the machine when there are
people, especially children, or animals around.
The operator or user is responsible for accidents
or risks to other people in their property.
Never use the brush cutter models Master 1000
or Master 3000 in the rain or wet location. Water
inside the equipment can damage the electric
circuit of the motor, besides increasing the risk of
an electric shock.
Master 1000 has an universal-type engine and
uses a thermal protector. This protector can act
during the use of the equipment, turning it off in
case of overload. If it happens, proceed as follows:
Turn off the on/off switch, remove the plug

from the wall outlet and wait a few minutes to
restart using the equipment.
If after a few minutes the equipment turns off
O
again, look for a TRAPP technical assistant.
Dress properly - Do not wear loose clothes or
jewelry as they may be caught by the movable
parts of the equipment. It is recommended to
wear gloves and shoes when working outdoors.
Carefully study the cutting movements. Before
initiating the cut, turn on the equipment and
simulate the movements. The correct movement
is from the right to the left.
Note:
According to the Brazilian standard NBR
5410, it is compulsory to install a device to protect
against residual differential current (DR device)
with tripping current not greater than 30 mA in
the electrical installation. The "DR" function is to
protect the user against serious electrical shock risk
(consult an electrician).
Wear safety equipment. Always wear safety
goggles. Using equipment such as, goggles,
gloves, shoes, non-skid boots and hearing
protection increases your safety and reduces the
risk of accidents.
Use the equipment properly - Do not use the
brush cutter model Master 1000 and Master
3000 for tasks other than intended. Only use the
equipment as described in these instructions and
for the function specified.
Be aware of the extension cord and/ or power
supply cord - Always keep the extension cord
and power supply cord away from the cutting
area and obstacles. Keep it away from heat, oil
and sharp edges. Frequently inspect the extension
cord; and do not use insulation tape for repairs. If
necessary, replace it.
Do not force the brush cutter - The equipment
will work better and safer when used under the
conditions specified.
Do not be self-confident. Keep both feet on the
ground to keep balance. This allows a better
control of the equipment in unexpected situations.
Do not use the equipment if the electrical switch
does not turn on and/or off. The equipment
cannot be controlled if the electrical switch is
damaged. The faulty electrical switch must be
immediately repaired.
Turn on the engine only when your hands and feet
are away from the cutting means.
Be alert - Pay attention to what is going on around
you. Do not use the brush cutter model Master
1000 and Master 3000 when you are tired,
distracted, or under the influence of alcohol or
drugs.
