3 Installation and Operation

3.1 Checking the Location

The correct location is crucial for the accuracy of the weighing results.
1 Ensure that the location of the weighing platform is
stable, vibration-free and horizontal.
2 The surface must be able to bear the weighing platform
under maximum load at the points of support.
3 Observe the following environmental conditions:
No direct sunshine
No strong draught or vibration
No excessive temperature fluctuations
Temperature range -10 °C to +40 °C / 14 °F to 104 °F

3.2 Connecting the Weighing Platform to the Weighing Terminal

The PBD659 weighing platforms are designed for use with digital METTLER TOLEDO weighing terminals.
Connect the weighing platform cable to the weighing terminal.
