- for low temperatures, select the "Low temperatures" position.
Open the gas cylinder tap (if fitted).
Move the choke tab to the "I" position.
N.B: Do not use the choke when the engine is warm or when the atmospheric temperature is high.
Set the on/off control to "

.
Slowly pull the starter-recoil reel handle once, until there is some resistance then let it return gently.
Then pull the starter-recoil reel handle quickly and sharply until the engine starts.
Slowly set the choke tab in the "O" position and wait until the engine temperature starts to increase before using the generating
set.
If the engine does not start, wait a few minutes before repeating operations
4.2. Operation
When the generating set speed has stabilised (approximately 3 minutes):
Ensure that the circuit breaker is in the depressed position. Push it in if necessary.
Connect the equipment to be used to the electrical sockets on the generating set.

4.3. Switching off

Disconnect the electrical sockets and allow the engine to run without any load for 1 to 2 minutes.
Set the on/off control to the OFF or O position: the generating set stops.
Close the gas cylinder tap (if fitted).
Disconnect the gas cylinder.
Always ensure that the generating set is suitably ventilated.

5.1. Reminder of use

The maintenance operations to be carried out are detailed in the maintenance table. The frequency of operations is given as a guide
only and applies to generating sets running on gas and oil which comply with the specifications given in these operating instructions.
Refer to the generating set user and general maintenance manual for maintenance operations relating to petrol mode.
If the generating set is being used in extreme conditions, shorten the interval between maintenance operations.
