PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

This accessory complies with sa ety standards IEC61010-1, and IEC61010-031 or
voltages up to 600 V in category IV.
Failure to observe the sa ety instructions may result in electric shock, re, explosion,
or destruction o the instrument and o the installations.
„ The operator and/or the responsible authority must care ully read and clearly
understand the various precautions to be taken in use. Sound knowledge and
a keen awareness o electrical hazards are essential when using this accessory.
„ I you use this accessory other than as speci ed, the protection it provides may
be compromised, thereby endangering you.
„ Do not use the accessory on networks o which the voltage or category exceeds
those mentioned.
„ Do not use the accessory i it seems to be damaged, incomplete, or poorly closed.
„ Be ore each use, check the condition o the insulation on the leads and housing.
Any item o which the insulation is deteriorated (even partially) must be set aside
or repair or scrapping.
„ Use personal protection equipment systematically.
„ Keep your ngers behind the physical guard.
„ All troubleshooting and metrological checks must be per ormed by competent
and accredited personnel.
