The remote probe is designed remote the TEST button and the M W terminal o the
installation tester or insulation testing. The user can hold the remote probe in one
hand and a test prod in the other and trigger the measurement.
The alarm unction o the installation tester is used to validate the measurement via
an acoustic signal without having to look at the display screen.
Connect the probe to the M W terminal o the installation tester, then connect the
red sa ety lead supplied with the unit to the COM terminal. The symbol
appears on the display unit o the instrument.
Connect the red lead to the rame ground o the device to be tested and place the
test prod o the probe on the other side o the device.
The object to be tested must not be live.

I it is dark, illuminate the measurement point by pressing the button underneath
the probe.
Press the yellow button o the probe to start the measurement and keep the button
depressed until you obtain a stable measurement.

ror messages and memorisation, re er to the user manual o the C.A 6113,
C.A 6116N, C.A 6117, C.A 652X or C.A 653X.
When the measurement has been made, release the yellow button. Then remove
the probe rom the device tested and disconnect the probe rom the instrument.
