Before Initial Use
1. Remove all packaging materials and any possible protective
fi lms used for protection during transportation.
2. Before you fi rst enjoy fresh cold drip coffee, we
recommend cleaning all components to remove any
possible production residues. To do this, follow the
instructions in the "Cleaning and Care" chapter.
Preparation
You can fi nd tips on dosing and preparation in our "Tips
for the Perfect Cold Drip Coffee" on the next pages.
1. Place the coffee jug on a dry, stable, fl at and water-resistant
surface.
2. If you have not already done so, place the seal on the
permanent fi lter.
3. Place the permanent fi lter in the coffee jug.
4. Pour the desired quantity of freshly ground coffee into
the permanent fi lter. Do not pour too much powder into
the permanent fi lter as this will swell up. And do not press
down the powder because otherwise the water will no
longer be able to trickle through.
We recommend 25 g of ground coffee per 250 ml of
water. You will fi nd more information about this in the
next chapter.
5. Wet the surface of the coffee powder with a little water.
This encourages even extraction.
