GE 150, GE 250, GE 250 S:
This machine is intended for operation with
a power supply having a system
impedance of Z
at the transfer point
max
(house connection) of maximum
0.443 ohms (at 50 Hz).
The user must ensure that the machine is
only operated with a power supply which
meets this requirement.
If necessary, this information can be
obtained from the local electric power
company.
10.2 Connecting the power cable
When choosing a power cable, take
account of all the information in the
"Electrical connection" section
(
10.1).
GE 150, GE 250, GE 250 S:
● Lift clip (1).
● Connect power cable connector.
● Release clip.
GE 260, GE 260 S:
● Connect the power cable connector to
the 5-pin mains plug on the machine.
10.3 Switching on the garden
shredder
There must be no shredding
material in the machine when it is
switched on as it may be expelled.
The blade disc locking device must

Risk of injury!
Do not step into the ejection area
when switching off!
Stand to the side of the machine to
do so.
Beware of the work tools running

Only switch off the motor when
there is no longer any shredding
10
material in the machine. Otherwise,
the blade disc may become blocked
when operation is resumed.

10.5 Checking the rotational direction
of the blade discs
On the GE 260 and GE 260 S
models, the rotational direction of
the blade disc must be checked
before commencing work (feeding).
Risk of injury:
Always wear safety glasses when
performing the check.
● Switch on garden shredder. (
● Switch off the garden shredder.

● Press the splash guard inwards and
look at the blade disc from above
through the feed opening:
The correct rotational direction of the
blade disc is anti-clockwise.
10.6 Changing the rotational
direction of the blade discs
In the case of incorrect rotational
direction (clockwise) of the blade
disc, the rotational direction must
be changed on the GE 260 and
GE 260 S models.
The rotational direction of the blade discs
can be changed by reversing the polarity
of the phase rotation device on the mains
plug.
● Using a screwdriver (U), turn the phase
rotation device (1) 180° clockwise or
