GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The menu-controlled operation of the device
uses the four function keys. The context-related
function of these soft keys is indicated by the
symbols shown on the display for each of these
keys. The exact meaning of these symbols is
explained in the list of "Reader unit display sym-
bols" on p. 34/35.
The preselected submenu is highlighted by a
frame. For improved navigation, the currently
selected position in the submenu is highlighted
by a scroll bar in addition to the frame. The keys
for standard operation
Note: When not in use, the reader unit swit-
ches to stand-by mode within 1-5 minutes,
depending on setting.
