Manual internal cleaning

Using a suitable spray product, follow the corresponding
instructions and spray the substance into the medical
device. Immediately after internal cleaning, carry out the
disinfection process or the drying process.

- Automatic cleaning

Use an ISO 15883 compliant washer-disinfector that uses
an alkaline cleaning agent with a maximum pH of up to 10.
- Disinfection
External manual: disinfect using a clean cloth soaked
in a suitable substance (e.g. O-phenylphenol or ethyl
alcohol). Products not recommended: disinfectants based
on benzalkonium chloride, acetone or glutaraldehyde.
Internal manual: Using a suitable spray product, follow
the corresponding instructions and spray the substance
inside the medical device. Immediately after internal
disinfection, perform the oil lubrication process and / or
the sterilisation process.
Automated: Use an ISO 15883 compliant washer-
disinfector that uses an alkaline cleaning agent with a
maximum pH of up to 10.
- Drying
Manual: in general use dry and clean air compliant with
ISO 7494-2.
Automated: the drying phase is normally part of the
cleaning programme of the washer-disinfector.
- Lubrication
CAUTION!
Lubrication cycles:
- Before every sterilisation.
- After every 15 minutes of rotation.
CAUTION!
Lubricate only with Ivory oil OL101S.
