Sterilisation in steam autoclave with fractional
pre-vacuum, class B cycle according to the standard:
EN 13060, EN ISO 17665-1
CAUTION!
- Follow the instructions of the autoclave manufacturer.
- Clean, disinfect and lubricate the handpiece before
sterilisation. The presence of blood residues on the
external or internal surfaces can lead to the formation
of corrosion.
- Make sure that the handpiece is properly dried after
sterilisation.
Authorised sterilisation procedures
1) Seal the handpiece and accessories in bags compliant
with UNI EN 868:2009, UNI EN ISO 1 1607:2009 "Packaging
for terminally sterilised medical devices".
2) Sterilise the bagged handpiece in an autoclave
according to EN ISO 17665-1 standard and respect the
following conditions:
- Class B steam sterilisation in autoclaves conforming to
EN 13060 standard. Sterilisation time at least 3.5 minutes at 135 °C.
3) Remove the bag from the autoclave.
-Storage
- Keep the handpiece in the sterilisation bag until it is
needed.
- Once sterilised, store the product in a dry and dust-
free place, if possible with a low microbial charge. The
processed device must be stored protected from dust and
microbiotic contamination. Storage temperature -10 ÷ 70°C.
Storage humidity 10 ÷ 90%.
ATTENTION!
Observe the validity date of the sterilisation carried out!
The device is supplied "non-sterile". The device can be
sterilised for at least 1000 times.
