Setting to work

Make sure there is no evident sign of damage to
the machine before starting work.
Before starting any operation, carry out a complete
recharge cycle of the battery pack.
The system safety officers must:
Prevent any improper use or maneuver;
Make sure that the safety devices are not removed or
tampered with;
Check that all maintenance operations are regularly
performed;
Make sure that no machine part (couplings, holes, etc.) is
modified to attach additional devices;
Make sure that only original Nilfisk spare parts are used.
The user shall be responsible for ensuring that installation
complies with the all relevant local provisions. The
equipment must be installed by qualified technicians who
have read and understood the instructions herein.

Charging Mode

Before plugging the machine into the electrical
mains, make sure the voltage rating indicated on
the data plate corresponds to that of the electrical
mains.
Connect the plug into a socket with a correctly
installed ground contact/connection.
The plugs and connectors of the connection cables
must be protected against splashes of water.
Check that for proper connection to the electrical
mains.
Charging the machine only when the cables that
connect to the electricity mains are in perfect
condition (damaged cables could lead to electric
shocks!).

Regularly check there are no signs of damage,
excessive wear, cracks or ageing on the charging
cable.
When the device is in charging, do not:
Crush, pull, damage or tread on the charging cable
that connects to the electrical mains.
Only disconnect the charging cable from the
electrical mains by removing the plug (do not pull
the cable).
The charging cable must be replaced by the
manufacturer's
equivalent qualified personnel.
The device must only be charged indoors and protected
from atmospheric agent.

When the machine is being charged, the suction motors
are disabled for operation.
Don't charge the machine battery when the temperature
is below 0°C.
Entry of water or other liquids into the batteries
compartment may cause possible mortal danger and
material damage.
Do not use water for cleaning the battery module.
Never put down containers with fluids (beverage
containers and the like) on electrical systems.
The relative humidity inside the room must not exceed
85%.
Do not clean the system with agents containing acid,
lye or solvents.
Charge the machine
To charge the machine battery, connect the supplied charging
cord to the plug (8). The charging LED starts flashing and
charging is in progress.

Dry applications

The supplied filters and the bag (if applicable) must be
installed correctly.
Comply with the safety regulations governing the
vacuumed materials.
