Preparation for operation

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a
minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit. Keep the unit away from
any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and
dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons of impaired mental,
sensory and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the mains plug
can be reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds
to that specified on the identification plate!
3.3.

Working with the unit

1. Connect the power cord connector (23) to the socket (20) on the back of the
unit.
2. Switch on the unit by pressing the button (13). The unit display will turn on.
3. Familiarize yourself with the power parameters of the external load
connected to the power supply.
4. Set the output parameters depending on the selected operation mode
a) Constant voltage
(CV mode)
-- Turn the coarse adjustment knob (7) and fine adjustment knob (5) for
the current clockwise to the maximum value.
Use the rotary knobs (9) and (11) to set the preferred output voltage.
- In this mode of operation the unit will provide a constant set voltage
value at the output, while the current value will vary with the connected
