Attention: read the precautions contained in the following
booklet carefully as they provide important instructions re-
garding safety during installation, use and maintenance.
Important instructions to keep for further reference.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or with a
lack of experience or knowledge if adequate supervision has been
ensured or if they have received instructions on how to use the ap-
pliance safely and have understood the related dangers.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children
unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children un-
der the age of 8.
- The temperature of the accessible surfaces can be high when the
appliance is in operation.
- The surfaces are prone to becoming hot during use.
- The appliance must not be operated by means of an external tim-
er or with a separate remote control system.
- If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced only
at the service centres authorised by the manufacturer in order to
prevent any risk.
- Before using the appliance for the first time clean it according
to the indications in the "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE" para-
graph.
- Place the appliance with its rear side against a wall.
- During use keep the appliance on a flat surface.
- Do not rest the appliance on unsuitable surfaces or surfaces that
are not heat-resistant.
- Do not cover the cooling air vents on the appliance, danger of
overheating. Do not use on surfaces covered by fabrics, sheets of
paper or other flexible materials as they could obstruct the air vents
that are underneath the appliance.
- Do not take the feet off. The feet serve as spacers between the
appliance and the surface on which it is placed.
