ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE FAN TO STOP WORKING BEFORE TURNING THE APPLIANCE OFF
COMPLETELY AND DISCONNECTING THE PLUG TO AVOID OVERHEATING.
Pre-heating
During operation, the display will show the temperature of the heating element. When the set
temperature has been reached the appliance will emit a "BIP" sound.
The appliance will reach maximum heating efficiency after pre-heating, for the best
results we recommend pre-heating the grill for 3 minutes before putting food in.

Cooking meat

Typical cooking time is between 1 and 3 minutes for each side of the meat.
Meat should be removed from the fridge around 1 or 2 hours before grilling and brought
slowly to room temperature.
- After pre-heating, put the dripping pan (7) on the rack supports, at level L6 using the
handle (5). Pour a bit of water into the dripping pan.
- Place the meat on the grill rack (6) and put it on the rack supports (3) at levels L1-L5
using the handle (5).
Select the level according to the thickness of the meat. For optimal browning and
crunchiness, the meat should be positioned as close as possible to the heating element
located in the upper part of the heating cavity, but without ever touching it.
- Immediately remove the handle (5) from the grill rack in order to avoid overheating.
Please note: when putting the meat on the grill rack, make sure that the piece of meat
is positioned in the centre, below the heating element, to ensure uniform irradiation of
the food.
- To turn the meat, completely remove the grill rack (3) using the handle (5) and place
it on a fire-resistant surface.
Turn the meat and put the grill rack back on the rack supports (3).
To turn the meat use barbecue tongs instead of sharp utensils to prevent the juice
coming out of the meat.
Interrupting cooking
To interrupt the cooking press the knob (2).
Removing the meat and leaving it to rest after cooking
The heat irradiated at a high temperature ensures quick browning and crunchiness.
In many cases after cooking it is advisable to leave the meat to rest. This can be done
at a low temperature whilst the grill rack is still on the upper levels L1-L5 or, better still,
by moving the rack onto level L6 or L7, above the dripping pan (7).
To move the dripping pan and the grill rack use the handle (5).
Dripping pan (7)
The dripping pan must be put in at level L6 during cooking and can get very hot. Use
the handle (5) to move it.
Pour a bit of water into the dripping pan to prevent the accumulated fat from catching
fire.
Keep checking that there is water when the grill is operating. If the water has evaporated,
turn off the appliance, carefully remove the dripping pan (7), let it cool down and add
water.
Preparation steps for a steak
1. Pre-heat the appliance.
2. Put the meat in and position it.
3. Grill one side of the meat for 1-4 minutes depending on the meat and the distance (see the
table).
4. Turn the meat and grill the other side for 1-4 minutes, depending on the meat and the distance
(see the table).
5. Allow the meat to rest.
In the event of an unexpected power cut during operation, perform the following operations:
1. Remove the food from the appliance.
2. Do not touch the appliance casing and make sure that other objects do not come into contact with
it. Without the fan cooling the casing may get very hot due to residual heat.
