As soon as the braking time exceeds 7 seconds, have the machine checked and a new
brake pad installed.

5.5 Handling at overload

Switch off the machine in the event of an overload. Switch the machine back on and continue sawing at a
reduced feed rate.

5.6 Cutting depth setting

The cutting depth can be set continuously in a range between 105 and 185 mm [4.13 to 7.28 in].
Use the following procedure to set the cutting
depth:
1. Turn the clamping lever (5) counter-clockwise
to release it.
2. Turn the handle (3) to adjust the cutting depth.
➢ The cutting depth is indicated on the
scale (4). The red printed mark on the
gearbox housing is the pointer.
3. Turn the clamping lever (5) clockwise to
tighten it.
✓ The cutting depth is set.
For separating cuts, always set the
cutting depth to approx. 2 ... 5 mm
[0.08 ... 0.2 in] more than the
material thickness you want to cut.
