7.1. Preparation
Wear appropriate PPE

Safety glasses.
•
Gloves and suitable clothing.

Mind any steps and slip-
pery floors!
Attention: Do not use scratched or damaged tubes further!
• Make sure the drains to be treated with Drainspexx are cleaned according the Standard Operating Procedure
in place. For recommendations on How to effectively clean drains please refer to the technical advice docu-
ment using this link

Check unit and tubes for damage prior to use
•
Make sure that the biocide drum is placed correctly (see picture 10008063)
•
Always have a spray bottle filled with fresh biocides.
•
Drive trolley close to the drain, where Drainspexx should be applied.
•
Connect pressurized air tube to supply using quick joint.
Attention: Make sure that the air pressure at the Drainspexx device is not exceeding 6 bar!
