11.4. Quality control
The appearance of the processed flowers at the end of the trimming must be reviewed. If the result is not as desi-
red, they should be returned to the barrel.
When the necessary cutting time compared to previous batches has increased and/or the quality of the flower has
deteriorated, the machine may need prompt cleaning. Later sections of this manual describe this process in detail.
12.
Maintenance
Maintenance work must always be carried out with the machine stopped and with the electricity
supply disconnected. Always wear protective gloves for maintenance operations.
To obtain a desired nominal amount of product and efficient use of the equipment, the equipment must be cleaned
regularly. The intensity and frequency of cleaning will depend on the conditions of the raw material processed. Master
Products recommends cleaning the barrel and blade at least once every 4 hours of operation. For optimal cleaning,
use hot water, a soapy sponge and Master Clean liquid. We recommend cleaning and sanitizing the other parts of the
machine at the end of each working day (8-12 h).
12.1. Cleaning
To perform this operation, it is essential to wear protective gloves and follow the safety recommendations:
1. First, press the red stop switch (OFF) to switch off the machine. Then disconnect it from the electricity supply by
unplugging it.
The machine must be stopped and disconnected before manipulating it.
2. Remove the barrel cover, the plastic tray and remove any raw material residue in them.
