General recommendations (valid for ALL sterilizers)

Since the success of the calibration procedure depends on the saturated, air-free condition of the steam, you must be sure
that the sterilizer is vacuum-tight before and during the calibration, and fix any vacuum fault before calibrating the
sterilizer.
Thus, you must run at least three vacuum tests: before connecting, after connecting and after disconnecting the
sterilizer to/from the calibration device.
The water contained in the pressure sampling tube may alter the pressure measurement and impair the calibration
process.
For this reason:
- Place the sterilizer calibration device in a higher position than the sterilizer, in order to prevent the formation of
residual water in the pressure sampling tube.
- Make sure that the pressure sampling tube is clean and free from any residual water before connecting it to the
sterilizer and to the calibration device.
If for any reason you have to repeat the calibration cycle, always disconnect the pressure sampling tube and remove any
residual water from the previous cycle.
