Calibration of Lisa 300, 500 and 500 Fully Automatic

Update the sterilizer software before carrying out a calibration.
Be sure that the sterilizer is vacuum-tight: Run at least three vacuum tests: before connecting, after connecting
and after disconnecting the sterilizer to/from the calibration device. Fix any vacuum fault before proceeding.
Remove all trays from the chamber. The tray rack must remain placed inside the chamber.
On the back side of the sterilizer, remove the safety valve cover. Using the pressure sampling rubber tube, connect the steam
pressure input of the calibration device to the pneumatic test connection (see picture).
1)
Depending on the model and year of manufacturing of the sterilizer, you might need one of the extension tubes
provided or not (see picture).
2)
Depending on the model and year of manufacturing of the sterilizer, the cap of the test connection could be
outside or inside the chamber (in this case, you will have to remove the chamber bottom cover to remove the
NOTES
cap). For more details, see the REPAIR service document.
Connect the calibration device to the female serial port of the sterilizer, using the standard data cable provided.
On the calibration device, turn the model selector to the OTHER STERILIZERS position (see picture).
Depending on the model and year of manufacturing of the sterilizer, the female port could be located at the back of
the sterilizer, or at the front, behind the service door (see pictures).
Connect the power supply to the calibration device.
Switch the sterilizer ON.
Insert a memory card into the calibration device. This will help you in analyzing the calibration data, if needed.
Open the sterilizer door. From the start screen, select MENU – SERVICE and digit the service code 1002.
Close the door and select MENU – TEST CYCLES – FACTORY CALIBRATION. The cycle start screen will appear: wait for the
acoustic tone, then launch the cycle.
NOTE If you launch the cycle before the acoustic tone, an alarm A980 will appear.
Wait for the message "LOAD NOT STERILE" (time required: about 35 minutes). The cycle has been completed and the sterilizer is now calibrated.
Check and, if necessary, set the date and time in the sterilizer.
Check the calibration is effective by running a 134°C cycle and a 121°C cycle.
