2. Ask the subject to blow evenly into the funnel at a distance without
interruption.
An adequate breath flow is indicated by a continuous tone.
While the sample is being taken, the display shows an empty bar that slowly
fills (see figures A and B).
If sampling was successful, the tone ends with an audible click.
The display shows a rotating progress symbol, which indicates the ongoing
analysis process.
The result is shown on the display after a few seconds and is stored in the
device.

WARNING
Damage to the device
If several tests are performed in a short period of time, condensate can
accumulate inside the funnel, which can enter the instrument.

Ensure prompt replacement of the funnel.
4.3.1 Reading the measurement result
After a few seconds (depending on the measured concentration and the
temperature of the instrument), the test result is shown on the display and stored
in the instrument. 2 different results are possible:
