Possible cause
No power
Defective On/Off Power Switch
Depth Stop (3) not correctly adjusted
Incorrectly fitted or loose router bit/Collet (24)
No supply of power
Brushes worn or sticking
Switch is faulty
Motor components faulty or short circuited
Blunt or damaged cutter
Speed Controller (10) set low
Motor is overloaded
Incorrectly fitted or loose router bit
Bent or damaged router bit
Brushes not moving freely
Damaged or worn motor
Plunge Lock Lever (11) engaged
Reached end of adjustment range
Mechanical obstruction
Damage to internal windings
Solution
Check power supply
Replace the On/Off Power Switch at an authorised Triton service centre
Ensure that the Depth Stop corresponds to the maximum amount of cut permitted by the Turret
Stops (1)
Tighten router bit/Collet and cutter assembly
Check that power is available at source
Disconnect power, open Brush Access Covers (9) and ensure brushes are not damaged or heavily
worn
Have the tool serviced by an authorised Triton service centre
Re-sharpen or replace cutter
Increase variable speed setting
Reduce pushing force on router
Refit or tighten router bit
Replace router bit
Disconnect power, remove brushes, clean or replace
Have the tool serviced by an authorised Triton service centre
Release Plunge Lock Lever
Reset the Micro Winder and set depth with the Depth Stop (3)
Have the tool serviced by an authorised Triton service centre
