Thank you for choosing to purchase a Taurus brand prod-
uct. Thanks to its technology, design and operation and
the fact that it exceeds the strictest quality standards, a
fully satisfactory use and long product life can be assured.

1. Parts description

1. Removable crumb tray
2. Toaster slots
3. Cancel button

2. Use and care:
2.1. Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each
use.
2.2. Do not use the appliance if the tray is not properly
fitted underneath the heating element.
2.3. Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not
work.
2.4. Do not move or transport the appliance while in use.
2.5. Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or con-
nected to the mains.
2.6. Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in
use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
2.7. This appliance is for household use only, not profes-
sional, industrial use.
2.8. Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or
persons with physical, sensory or reduced mental or lack
of experience and knowledge.
2.9. Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
2.10. Never leave the appliance connected and unat-
tended if is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the
life of the appliance.
3. Instructions for use
3.1. Before use:
3.1.1. Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
3.1.2. Before using this product for the first time, it is advis-
able to test it without bread.
3.1.3. Some parts of the appliance have been lightly
greased. Consequently, the first time the
appliance is used a light smoke may be detected. After a
short time, this smoke will disappear.
3.2. Use:
3.2.1. Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
3.2.2. Connect the appliance to the mains.
3.2.3. Put the slice/slices of bread into the appliance.
3.2.4. Use the select knob to reach the desired toasting
level.
3.2.5. Start the appliance by sliding the loading lever
down until a "click" is heard
3.2.6. The slice/slices will be automatically centred for a
uniform toasting.
3.2.7. Avoid to reach dark brown colours on the toasted
bread.
3.2.8. After the selected toasting time the appliance will
switch off automatically.
3.3. Cancel function:
3.3.1. The cancel function allows the interruption of the use
of the appliance. To do this, press the button (3).
3.4. Reheat function:
3.4.1. The reheat function is for reheating previously
toasted bread. To do this, place the toast, move
the loading lever (6) down and press the corresponding
function button (4)
3.5. Defrost function:
3.5.1. The defrost function is for defrosting slices of bread.
To do this, place the frozen slice of
bread, move the loading lever (6) down and press the cor-
responding function button (5).
3.6. Once you have finished using the appliance:
3.6.1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
3.6.2. Put the cable back in the cable housing.
3.6.3. Clean the appliance.
3.7. Cable compartment:
3.7.1. This appliance has a cable compartment situated on
its underside (1)
4. Cleaning
4.1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it
to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
4.2. Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few
drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
4.3. Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base
