FLAME SELECTION
If the burners are set correctly, the flames should be
light blue, and the inner cone should be clearly
visible. The size of the flame depends on the
position of the control knob of the selected burner.
See also fig. 8 for the various operating options
(flame size selection).
The burner should be set to the maximum position
during the initial phase of cooking to bring the food
to a boil, and then turned to the saving position to
keep cooking. It is also possible to adjust the size of
the flame continuously.
It is prohibited to set the flame in the position
between Burner off and Burner on flame in
maximum position.
Significant amounts of energy can be saved if the appliance is used
correctly, if the parameters are set correctly, and with proper cooking
utensils. Savings can be made in the following way:
 Up to 60% saving when using proper pots.
 Up to 60% savings when the hob works properly and the flame
size is right.
Keeping burners clean at all times (in particular, flame grooves and
nozzles) is a prerequisite for efficient and energy-saving operation.
