1. Connect one end of the red battery cable to the
POSITIVE (+) battery terminal (A) on the weak
battery.

2. Connect the other end of the red battery cable to the
POSITIVE (+) battery terminal (B) on the charged
battery.
WARNING:
the red battery cable touch the chassis.
This will cause a short circuit.
3. Connect one end of the black battery cable to the
NEGATIVE (-) battery terminal (C) on the charged
battery.
4. Connect the other end of the black battery cable to
a CHASSIS GROUND (D), away from the fuel tank
and the battery.

To remove the jumper cables

Note:
Remove the jumper cables in the opposite
sequence to how you connect them.
1. Remove the BLACK cable from the chassis.
2. Remove the BLACK cable from the fully charged
battery.
3. Remove the RED cable from the 2 batteries.

To remove the mower

1. Set the attachment clutch switch to the disengaged
position.
2. Lower the attachment lift lever to its lowest position.
3. Remove the mower drive belt from the electrical
clutch pulley (A). See
belt on page 26 .
4. Remove the retainer spring and washer to
disconnect the front link (B) from the mower .
5. Go to one side of the mower.
6. Disconnect the mower suspension arm (C) from the
chassis.
7. Disconnect the rear lift link (D) from the rear mower
bracket (E).
8. Go to other side of the mower and disconnect the
suspension arm and rear lift link.
CAUTION:
are disconnected, the attachment lift
lever will be spring loaded. Hold the
lift lever tightly when you change the
position of the lever.
9. Remove the mower from the product.
To install the mower deck
1. Park the product is on a level surface and
engage the parking brake. Refer to
disengage the parking brake on page 14 .
2. Lower the lift lever for the mower deck to the lowest
position. Make sure that the suspension arms for the
mower deck point forward.
3. Move the mower deck below the product until it is in
the middle.
